21: Summer weather!

18., 19 weeks ( - 71km) Distance 0, but I did manage to walk ALOT in London probably 60km... but it's not running, so I can't count it.

Week 20: Maas Marathon (36km), not quite 42.2km BUT I honestly pushed myself beyond what I thought was capable leading up to the race itself. Sometimes you just get caught up in the race environment, the competitive edge and it motivates you to push aside that pricking pain and RUN with the 3:45 group.

Sometimes it's the RACE environment that just PUSHES you

Week: 21 (-35.5km) Dealing with TRANSIT, ASH problem, returning to work and jetlag. Combine that with jello legs for biking made it diffucult to motivate myself to RUN. It was more preventative in terms of nursing my injuiry and just plain laziness.

Currently: week 22!!! (MAY 24 weekend!!!) Weather is amazing for the several days ahead. 28-30 degrees. Sun tanning??
Did 6km run, and felt okay today. will try again tomorrow.

The Tally from the week ending 21: (   890km)
Reserves: (173.1km)

EXTRA Mileage paid off in Feb, March... but Crashed in April (Maybe a case of too hard, too fast).
STILL ON TRACK!!!!

Will count the weeks soon

Quick update:

Left ankle is getting better. It's tight behind the ankle joint, tight muscle. doing some physio exercises and massage.

Pushed through, and completed 35km of the Maas Marathon. I will do a Marathon in Europe. Had to throw in the towel, because I didn't want to jeopardize my trip.

Back home, and will revamp exercise plan and goals. I'm still on track for 2010 in 2010, just a minor setback.

Cheers

Thanks for the advice 44darts! I'll upload photos soon, but check out the travel blog for what I've been doing for the last 3.5 weeks around Europe.
