coldness is upon us!

GAH! first signs of PURE winter....
snow, ice, frozen sidewalks, strong winds...
EWW.

on a brighter note : [S: 4k, B: 61k, R: 19k]

2 days of non-biking due to me being a whimp and not wanting to ride when it was frozen/melting ice... that's just too scary for me

this just furthers... my anger

I hate cars that do NOT look in their blind spots, that want to turn on everything, that don't look at the bike lane.... that decide to cut you off cause you're on 2 wheels.

GAHHHHHHHHH!~

joys of November

Week 6: [S: 5.0k, B: 97k, R: 28.7k]

Another solid week! Still a lack of weights....

Sunday: A little mis-hap with the subway... caused lack of weights and a very excited run w/ best run partner. 53 min/8.2k . Felt: amazing!

Monday: lack of swim, caused by preparedness.....
ended up late to a spinning class... but it was still good.
enjoyed a good nap during the afternoon and took the TTC = no control in speed of transportation.

Tues: skipped run :( had a long bike ride instead.

Wed: another awesome run with Menard. 5k with Menard, 6k total 38min.
no swim b/c of video uploadage GRRRRRRRRRRR.

Thurs: Afternoon run; 45min/ 7k + 100 sit-ups
Fri: OFF

Sat: 7.6k, 45min/ weights for shoulder, chest, bi/tri/arms...

A lot more motivation than the previous week, but still lacking in real push!

oh it feels good

Stats for this week.

[S: 4.7k, B: 110k, R: 23.6k]

If you were on my MSN contact list you'd probably see these numbers on a regular basis. It's not that I'm trying to gloat (maybe it is..) but it's another way to constantly remind myself of the progress I've made during the week. Whether I've trained hard or not is all subjective but actual mileage really makes a difference in the proceeding weeks.

Here is a breakdown of my exciting week.

sunday: brisk 4.8/5.6k run up to Spadina/St.clair and back in the AM.
Monday: skipped run in the AM
did a 2k swim
followed by a long break and an Intense, intense/fun spin class.

Review: Spin classes are amazing, you can adjust the tension and speed to your liking it 's just non-stop biking for an entire hour. It's great!

Tues: 8k run topped in 46 min (slower than normal?) with a 1k cool-down.

wed: 4k run w/ Menard (25 min/ med-slow tempo)
skipped a swim in favour of seeing my rents.

Thurs: BAD morning, followed with a 5k run... good times good times.

Fri: OFF
SAT: 5k, bad/lazy/tired.

Overall, not impressed with the lack of weight-training. Cardio and endurance is getting up there... so we'll see how the W-T will fit into my schedule. Will slowly introduce more swimming as we more forwards into the winter months.

End of one, beginning fresh (NOV)

This week was much more laxed in terms of insane outings.

Last Saturday had an amazing time meeting up with Geeths, Shobes and V-attack for some Indian in Little India!! GReat food, great company , only thing missing with Liz and Mikeness.

This week stared with a fizzle... and ended off strong.
Stats: [S:8k, B: 82k, R: 28k]
Sunday: just plain tired, and there was drama at work.

Monday: did a 4k ~ 22min... tres tres lazy- really didn't have time as I was covering/switching with Stonk.

Tues: ultimate day!
7k run around the track =35 laps in about 42 minutes plus 3 laps of walkage
110 sit-ups (sets of 15 varying positions... thehehe)

AFternoon did a 3.5k SWIM.. very proud of myself, as it was LONG COURSE. Lasted just over an hour.

WED: 8k run in the AM for 42 min HR=200/min RIGHT after the run. FELT amazing, as I got my second wind by lap 20.
100+ ABs.
3x15 squats (free standing)

Thurs, Fri: OFF

SAT: amazing on the treadmill.
Completed 4.5miles = 7.4k in about 45 minutes using the HILL selection
followed by some full-body weight sessions, and 100 Situps.

GReat week overall. Especially with this new committment to a run in MARCH.
