Personally not the hugest winter sports fan, but I have to admit the opening ceremonies were amazing.
the orca whales, the boy running in the field, the tappers, the fiddlers (ashley macisaac), the performers (KD Lang, Meesha, Nelly and Bryan Adams) all transformed the BC Place into an exciting atmosphere!
Small glitch with the Caldron, but the torch bearers were still amazing! Catriona le may doan, Nancy Green, Steve Nash, and Wayne Gretzky.

Here at home - we're gearing up for CIS swimming competition! should be fun times. In the booth for the heats, which is what I like. good times good times!

i missed the opening ceremonies. coverage here is practically brutal!
I'll keep you posted via my weekly updates -- but have you tried streaming? ctvolympics.ca (but it could be licensing issues).
